3. Page 2, after line 30 by inserting: “
4. A sexual assault forensic examination center grant program trust fund is created in the state treasury under the control of the department of justice. The department of justice may accept gifts, grants, bequests, and other private contributions, as well as state or federal moneys, for deposit in the fund. All moneys deposited in the trust fund are appropriated and made available to the department of justice to be used for the purposes meeting the requirements of this section and to provide grants to sexual assault forensic examination centers in this state. Notwithstanding section 12C.7, subsection 2, interest or earnings on moneys in the fund shall be credited to the fund.”
5. Title page, by striking lines 1 through 3 and inserting “An Act establishing a sexual assault forensic examination center grant program and trust fund.”
